Britney Spears loses custody of her two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James by the Los Angeles Superior Court. The boys are to remain in the custody of their father Kevin Federline on Wednesday October 3rd until further notice by the court.A judge has decided that Kevin Federline will get custody of sons Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, starting this Wednesday. At a hearing in the Federline v. Spears custody case in Los Angeles Monday, the court ordered that Federline take care of the children he shares with ex-wife Britney Spears until further order of the court.
Britney Spears basically ignored the L.A. County Commissioner Scott Gordon and all of his orders. She had 50/50 custody but failed to meet Gordon's requirements in order for her to maintain 50/50 custody. TMZ scoop:
"Spears was ordered to meet with a drug counselor -- she didn't do it. Spears was ordered to submit to drug testing -- she didn't do it. Spears was ordered to enroll in parenting classes -- didn't do it. Spears was also required to sign the judge's order -- again, she didn't."
In short, Spears did everything wrong ... by doing nothing.

After temporary losing custody of her children, dropping them off with Kevin Federline, Britney Spears reported has checked into Beverly Hills' Peninsula Hotel Monday night. Friend Sam Lufti was there with her and tells Usmagazine.com that she's feeling optimistic about regaining custody of her sons.
"She is doing OK," Lufti tells Us. "It has been a rough day. She is feeling very optimistic about the future."
Lufti explains that the Monday decision to give K-Fed custody was merely the result of some scheduling conflicts that had kept Spears from taking her court-mandated drug tests. "There were scheduling conflicts and some errors in communication as to times and places for drug tests, etc., but they're all squared away now," he tells Us, continuing, "[Spears] is hoping the judge will reverse the order Wednesday, now that she is making steps to follow through with what they asked."
Lufti has been taking care of the scheduling for Britney, another source tells Us. "Sam is arranging for Britney to take drug tests. He's arranging everything and getting it on track. Everyone is optimistic that she'll get her kids back soon." Lufti also took Spears to the DMV yesterday to help her get a valid California license. "Sam is a really good friend of Britney's," the source tells Us. "He's a really good guy all around. She respects him."
